Network administrators can use ARD to remotely update, control, install, and manage practically any aspect of the computer’s operation. Apple Remote Desktop version 2.1 has new features that allow controlling permissions to be assigned using the user’s network login. For example: User000 can add workstations to their ARD Workstations list using their own User000 and their password.
