New and improved article outlines

World Book is excited to announce the launch of a new enhancement to the World Book Online Reference Center:

Expandable Article Outlines

World Book Online Reference Center now has expandable article outlines in the Article Contents columns. This feature condenses the outline section, streamlining the navigation and greatly reducing scrolling.

Article sections that have subsections or media within them will display with a + symbol to the left of the section title. Clicking on the + icon will expand the section, changing the + icon to a - icon and showing the subsection and media titles within that section.

The default view will expand the section that the user is currently viewing, with a - icon and all main subsection items showing. All other sections will be collapsed, showing a + icon. In long article view, all sections in the outline will be expanded.
