The Instructional Technology department will have a Inservice. Topics include Active Directory, NYLearns, Harcourt Software, Tandberg Video systems demo, and internet tools.
Instructional Technology is planning six, all-day staff development days to be held at the Buffalo Professional Development and Technology Center, 150 Lower Terrace, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
On the agenda for the first meeting:
• Active Directory Update• A look at what's new on NYLearns
• Focus on Reading; Using Harcourt software
• New Internet Tools for the Classroom
• Tandberg Demo
The day's activites will conclude at School 95@192 with a demonstration of the Tandberg Connections Program. Tandberg units are being installed in 53 Buffalo Public Schools. This technology promises to "enrich the existing curriculum ...by by providing content programs that bring the world to your classroom" through virtual field trips.
Participants will be on their own for lunch.
