The next regularly scheduled inservice day for district Technology Integration Specialists and building support personnel will be held Friday, February 9. Please mark your calendars and inform your principals you will be out of the building.

Our department will play a major role in the District Wide Technology Pre-installation Audit. There will be an Audit Team meeting in Room 453 starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. where you get an outline of your duties as a member of this team.

Following the Pre-installation Audit meeting, Bill Russo will outline the plan for the next phase of Walk Throughs. The Walk Throughs planned for February involve the Math Department and will follow the same general format as the Reading Walk Throughs held in the fall.

Also on the day's agenda are:

Amy Hunan from World Book Online. She will be introducing some of the site's new features, including World Book Kids
School World will offer a two hour web master training session for TIS's only. You will receive your admin logins at this time.
A representative from HP will be on hand to discuss Classroom Strategies with a focus on support of the district multimedia initiative.
Finishing up the day will be a presentation of EdVideo online. Logins will be distributed at this time.

Due to time constraints and the weather, we will be "eating in" and will order lunch from Sue's NY Deli. Visit the website for a preview of the lunch menu.
