The last meeting for the 2007-08 school year will be held Monday, June 16 at the Buffalo Professional Development and Technology Center, 150 Lower Terrace.

The in-service will begin at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and opening remarks. The first session, given by Mary Mcllquham from Atomic Learning will begin at 8:45 a.m. The webex will explore ways to integrate this web resource into the curriculum and to encourage increased usage in your buildings.Tandberg Video Conference Systems Highlighting the department's most important rollout for the next school year, Andy Ziemba from Logical Choice Technologies will demo the the whiteboard with a tour of the hardware and software. He will bring a sample board with him.

Three of BPS's own are doing a Speed Training Session, 3/30 minute updates. Kim Powell from the Help Desk will talk about the changes in using IT Direct. Ike Smith will show us how to use Google Docs in the classroom to produce effective collaboration. Bill Valtin will talk about how technology upgrades to the Tandberg system offers new opportunities for teachers.

In the afternoon, Sam Heiney from Geneva Logic is going to offer Visions 101. He will walk the group through the features of this classroom management tool.

Because of the tight schedule, we will be ordering lunch in. The menu link will be posted Wednesday morning along with a complete agenda of the day's activities.
