Three Steps

Upload Your Files
1 . Launch an FTP program, such as Transmit.
2 . To upload your files to the web server, you will be asked to supply the
server address review.buffaloschools.org along your user name and
password that were assigned to you.
Your user name
should appear here.
Type your user name in lowercase.
Type your password as shown. Your password is case sensitive.
3 . After connecting to the server and logging in, your next step will be to
upload your files to the server by copying them from your hard drive to
the server review.buffaloschools.org.

4. Navigate to your web site files. Drag the html files and graphics from
the field at the left to your school’s folder on the web server, right.
S u b m i t your site for review
1 . Your web site must be reviewed by an IT Department representative
prior to publication.
2 . To submit your web site for review, login into the BPS Review application
through a browser (Safari or Explorer) at review.buffaloschools.org
You will be asked to authenticate. Supply the user name and password
you were assigned.

3. Click on the Maintenance tab. You will be given the options of
submitting the entire site or selected files for review.
If you are making changes or corrections to your site, submit only the
files with changes for review.
Click Submit.
An e-mail will notify the designated reviewers that your pages have been
uploaded and are ready for review.
Your site will be reviewed for compliance with the district’s web
development guidelines, as well as for typographical errors, broken links
etc.

4. To confirm that your submitted material was approved and published,
log on to BPS Review application through a browser (Safari or Explorer)
at r e v i e w . b u f f a l o s c h o o l s . o r g
Supply your user name and password to authenticate.
Click on the History tab.
5 . Upon a successful review, you should see that your submission has been
accepted and published.
If some files are declined, a reason will be supplied by the reviewer.
When corrections or changes are made, upload the file(s) and submit
the files for review.
