Remove User Caches script- Version 3
Very Important Update! This script should be installed in the /Library/Application Support/ folder of the Macintosh HD. Version 3 comes as an installer package and includes better handling of failure. It will empty the user's ~/Library/Cache folder, and redirect it to a place in the local hard drive. This help reduce network traffic to the server dramatically for networked users. It should be set in Workgroup Manager as a Login item for the networked user groups. More info: -- This script will delete a user's Caches folder,
-- create a folder in /Users/Shared/Downloads/Caches/username/Caches,
-- Create a symbolic link from this new folder to the users's library folder
-- In effect, redirecting the users's caches to the local volume.
-- It also assumes that the refreshdownloads.sh script is being ran everynight- which deletes and recreates the /Users/Downloads/ folder.
