Xerox WCP - Xerox Job Type
How to create a sample set, and to have your print job waiting for you with a secure print code.
Mac OS X - Xerox Job Type
Secure Print
There may be situations where you would like to have your print job waiting for you inside the printer's memory. For example:
- When printing confidential documents
- When printing to a highly used printer where you don't want your printouts mixed up or misplaced.
- When you are in a situation where you have to put your own paper in for your printing and/or copying.
To Use:
- Select Xerox Job Type from the Copies & Pages popup
- Select Secure Print and type in a 4 digit numeric code (make up your own)
- After printing, go to the Xerox and push the Job Status button.
- Find your print job in the job list and select it.
- Push the on-screen Release button
- Enter your code and push the on-screen Submit button. Your print job will now come out.
Sample Print
If you want to make sure how your print job will come out (especially for complex print jobs), use the Sample print feature. This will print one Sample copy, and then finish the print job when you select it from the Print Job list and release it.
- Select Xerox Job Type from the Copies & Pages popup
- Select Sample Print and then Print
- On the Xerox one copy will be printed. Verify that it came out as you wished.
- Go to the WorkCentre Pro and push the Job Status button on the WorkCentre Pro
- Select your job from the list and push the on-screen Release button. If the sample print was not correct then Cancel the job.
