Xerox WCP - Internet Printing

How to send a print file to a workCentre Pro via a web browser.

Cross Platform - Internet print

You may need to print a file to a WorkCentre without setting the desired printer on your workstation.

The WorkCentre pros include a web print feature that allows you do do this via a web browser.

Create a print file

  • On a Mac, save the print job as a PDF file using the print window's PDF menu.
  • On a Windows PC, select a Xerox printer, and choose "Save as file" from the print dialog box (Method not tested yet- use at your own risk!).  Or, use a PDF creation utility to create a PDF file.

Connect to the Xerox via a Web Browser

  1. In a web browser, type the IP number for the Xerox in URL Address field and press return.Xerox WCP75 - Internet print.jpg
  2. This will bring up the printer configuration report. Click the Print tab.
  3. Select the options you desire for your print job.
  4. Click the Choose file button, browse your hard drive to find the files you created in the previous part.
  5. Click Submit. If accepted you will receive a confirmation dialog box.
