PASSWORD SELECTION AND PROCEDURE
Each authorized user of the system is given unique sign-on identification (USER-ID: First initial of First Name and Last Name). When your account is created your default PASSWORD will be your USER-ID. The first time you log-on to eSIS change your PASSWORD to something you can remember, see the tips below.
Each user chooses a special PASSWORD (5-8 characters). This PASSWORD is the information that allows each individual user, and only that user, to use the USER-ID and computer privileges associated with it. NOTE: Invalid PASSWORD is USER-ID, Last Name, or First Name.
Date of birth, telephone numbers, family member's names, or other significant combinations of letters or numbers should not be used.
A password should never be written in an easily discovered location, and in no case should it be listed on or near a computer terminal.
Passwords should not be shared with or lent to others.
If a password is lost, forgotten, or stolen, contact your District Security Administrator.
Make your password complicated enough so that someone looking over your shoulder cannot determine it from your keystrokes.
It is recommended that you use a combination of letters and numbers (ex: tig83er, tiger57)
You may change your password anytime.
