Buffalo is taking part in the state wide rollout of MarcoPoloNY. The district's Instructional Technology staff is being trained in May. Technology Integration Specialists who are assigned to middle and high schools are to report May 19 for an all day in-service.
Marco Polo NY will be the focus of two May TIS trainings, sponsored by the BPS Instructional Technology department. Donna Raczynski, District Team TIS and Marco Polo SuperTrainer, will conduct the intensive, hands-on all day workshops, planned for May 12 and May 19.
TIS's who are assigned to elementary schools are asked to attend the May 12 session and those working primarily with middle and high school students will attend May 19.
TIS's attending either session will receive an a 5-hour end user certificate.
Because the workshops are hands-on and seating is limited, the Marco Polo training is open to TIS's only. We apologize that our building contact personnel can not be accommodated at this time.
