The first Friday Inservice for the 2006-07 school year is scheduled for October 13. The professional development day is co-sponsored by the departments of Instructional Technology and Shared Accountability.

The first TIS Friday Inservice for the 2006-07 school year is scheduled for October 13. The professional development day is co-sponsored by the departments of Instructional Technology and Shared Accountability. This is the first of six staff development days planned by the two departments to support new technology initaitives in the district.

The inservices will be held at the Buffalo Professional Development and Technology Center, 150 Lower Terrace, starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m.

On the agenda for October:

  • Free Digital Field Trips! (Pauletta Stines and Leslie Duggleby)
  • Leopard! And Other WWDC News (Scott Nourse)
  • Learn About School Dude
  • Buffalo Schools New Web Page Unveiled! (Representatives from SchoolWorld & BPS Public Relations)
  • PC Management Tips and Tricks (Bob Swipes)

A complete agenda will be posted the first week of October.
